Every semester comes with new challenges and assignments you need to do. Before you think about letting all of your homework pile up until the last minute, I have some tips and tricks to help you.
Google Calendar
For this any calendar will work, but I highly recommend the Google Calendar because it lets you color code your activities and it will also sync to all of your Apple devices. Keeping an electronic calendar is great because you can set alarms and reminders, that way you don't even have to remember to look at your calendar, it does the work for you! The key to keeping a successful calendar is to remember to update it, even the littlest activity like dinner with a friend. By writing in a calendar it will help you be efficient with your time and you will be a good friend because you didn't forget your plans.

Planner
Planners come in all shapes and sizes. While a planner does a similar job to a calendar, a planner allows you the freedom to keep track of your homework assignments in greater detail. When picking a planner it is important to pick one that you like. This will insure that you continue to use it as the semester wears on. I love Erin Condren planners because they are colorful and allow me the month and then consecutive week overviews! Whether you want color or structure, make sure to keep your planner updated with assignments and exams.
Homework Day
My last recommendation for a successful year is to plan a homework day. While you should be doing homework throughout the week, I find it helpful to dedicate a day (mine is Sunday) to review and finish any homework you didnt get done during the week. This allows you to structure your time and assignments throughout the week, while still getting a break on the weekend!
I hope these tips have helped you get organized for the school year! My last little piece of wisdom is to remember to have fun! While homework and exams can overwhelm you and stress you out, make sure to take some "me time," even if its running to Sonic and back!
